A few truisms after nearly three decades of working with puppets:
Whether it's a traditional bunraku puppet, a giant parade puppet, or an audio-animatronic puppet, there's an art to discovering and releasing the life inside objects.
Oh, and also:
- Puppets are magic.
- Puppets are universal.
- Puppetry exists in indigenous storytelling cultures all over the world, which is a testament to the first two points.

- Puppets will always cost more and take longer than you think ...but they're worth it every time.
